Culinary Delights

Whether you are stopping by for your morning brew or enjoying a leisurely afternoon, Mason Lane offers a menu that pleases every palate. Start your day with a rich Cappuccino or a robust Espresso, each crafted to perfection with a focus on quality and flavor. For those who prefer something a touch sweeter, indulge in their Mocha or a creamy Latte. The attention to detail is palpable—each cup is artfully presented, often with beautiful latte art that showcases the baristas' skills.

If your appetite is calling for something more substantial, consider one of their mouthwatering Toasties. The Ham, Cheese, and Tomato toastie is a classic favorite, oozing with gooey cheese and savory flavors, while the Bacon, Lettuce, Tomato, and Avocado option elevates the humble sandwich into a gastronomical delight. Don't skip dessert either—delight in a Yoyo or a slice of cake, perfect for satisfying that sweet tooth!

Atmosphere and Experience

Mason Lane Café radiates a nurturing vibe where comfort and camaraderie coexist. As customer reviews reflect, the warmth of the staff plays a significant role in creating a welcoming environment. Vanessa Tsui, a delighted patron, shared her experience of latte art made in homage to her dog, showcasing the café’s attention to detail and love for their customers. The outdoor seating area, while adjacent to a main road, buzzes with a lively energy that is perfect for people-watching—albeit with a bit of background noise.

Additionally, you can savor the joy of a filling Big Breakfast, highlighted by crispy hash browns and juicy sausages, as Dolores noted in her glowing review. Each meal is a testament to the café's commitment to serving hearty, fulfilling food in a setting that feels familiar and unpretentious. Lin captured it perfectly: the café might not boast modern glitz, but it delivers on providing a solid, traditional dining experience.

We stumbled across this spot on the weekend because we were looking for a dog friendly cafe. The staff were lovely and the food was really great. They made us latte art on the coffee after our doggie which we really appreciated the detail. We sat outside because of our dog but because we were on a main road it ended up being quite loud. My partner had the southern fried chicken burger and I had the mason lane club sandwich. Both were delicious. Overall I would recommend this place. The inside of the cafe was really cosy so I would suggest sitting inside if you can. Staff were also nice and friendly.

Don't let the slightly tired interior fool you. Top-notch brekkie with a solid old school vibe - not fancy just delicious! My Just Eggs with sides was exactly what I hoped for.

It is a family-style restaurant with few varieties. The taste is authentic Australian flavor. The space is small, so you can smell the kitchen fumes. The environment is quite comfortable.

Date of visit - 07FEB2022 Really good coffee! It offers a small indoor area and nice shaded outdoor area next to to semi busy road for you to enjoy a coffee or breakfast, the staff are friendly, attentive and offer table service. The menu is a good sized menu with quite a bit of variety and appears to be a favourite amongst the locals! See photos - Today we are having the (massive) 'Big Breakfast' with scrambled eggs and the (spongy and fluffy more of a pancake style) 'Pumpkin and Corn Fritters' Big Breakfast PROS - - Huge serving portion - Great value - Have the eggs cooked the way you want - Filling Big Breakfast CONS - - Nothing really, perhaps for some it is too big but who would complain about that... Pumpkin and Corn Fritters PROS - - Great value and size - Yummy flavours and fresh - Filling Pumpkin and Corn Fritters CONS - - Perhaps a debate as to whether these are Fritters or pancakes but nonetheless it was yum! 2x dishes and 3x coffees will set you back around $55, valued as fair.
